Anantapuram District: The Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) extended its support for the renovation of the historically significant Kollapuramma Goddess Temple in the SC Colony of Hulikallu Village, Kalyanadurgam Mandal, in the district. On behalf of the organization, we presented the villagers with a new idol of the Kollapuramma Goddess for consecration in the newly constructed temple.

Temple Background - Locals' Fight for Dharma Protection:
The Kollapuramma Goddess Temple has existed in Hulikallu village for a very long time. Initially a small temple with a wooden idol, it became dilapidated over time. Unfortunately, this area was also touched by the disease of religious conversion. About 70% of the Hindus residing in the colony were converted due to inducements.

Yet, the remaining 30% of Hindu brothers did not abandon their roots or their Dharma. They worked hard and with determination to reconstruct the dilapidated temple. As they were waiting for donors to provide an idol for consecration in the newly built temple, GHHF stood by them.

GHHF's Efforts - Beginning with Dharma Prachar:
Some time ago, our GHHF activists reached Hulikallu village. As part of the Dharma protection programs undertaken by GHHF, we had completed door-to-door Dharma Prachar here as well. We painted the 'Bhagawan Nama' on every house and established a Village Committee. During this process, the Hindus in the SC Colony contacted our activists and expressed their desire for an idol consecration. Recognizing the danger of conversion there and the commitment to Dharma by the locals, GHHF immediately decided to start the work. At their request, we provided them with the new idol of the Goddess.

A Miracle Unfolds - The Arrival of the Goddess:
The joy of the villagers knew no bounds when they learned that the idol of the Kollapuramma Goddess was arriving in the village. A festive atmosphere prevailed throughout the village. The idol of the Goddess was placed on a tractor and taken from the village outskirts to the temple in a magnificent procession.

A great miracle occurred during this festival. Every household welcomed the Goddess. It is noteworthy that even those who had converted due to allurements, unable to forget their roots, participated in the procession and welcomed the Goddess. This incident once again proved the adage, 'Who can change the roots of the Hindus?' Thus, the Goddess reached the temple. The Vigraha Pratishtha (consecration ceremony) of the Kollapuramma Goddess will be performed soon after finding an auspicious time.

GHHF's Goal - The Work Has Just Begun:
Our work at GHHF is not complete just by providing the Goddess's idol. In fact, the true Dharma protection and Hindu revival program in this area has just begun. With the blessings of the Kollapuramma Goddess added to the religious activities we will undertake, we hope that a new glory for Hindu Dharma will emerge in Hulikallu.
