[GHHF] Livelihood Supporting Values: A New Era for 38 Hindu Women Towards Economic Self-Reliance
In alignment with the core values of the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation, our mission to economically empower women within the Hindu community is reaching a significant milestone. We firmly believe that protecting our Dharma is not merely about preaching its principles, but also about standing as a pillar of support for our sisters in financial need, enabling them to lead lives of dignity and self-reliance. This conviction is yielding extraordinary results in the Dhone center of Nandyal district and the remote regions of Alluri Sitharama Raju district, where the first phase of our free tailoring training program is nearing a successful conclusion.
At the Dhone center in Nandyal district, witnessing the overwhelming enthusiasm of the local women, we organized the training in two dedicated batches—morning and afternoon. Twenty women have been participating with immense discipline, mastering the intricacies of tailoring. Simultaneously, in the center established in Alluri Sitharama Raju district, 18 tribal sisters are completing their training. In total, 38 women from these two districts have reached the final stage of their learning. To formalize their skills, the foundation will soon conduct a final examination, following which certificates will be awarded to the successful candidates. This certification will mark the official completion of the first batch, transitioning these women from trainees to skilled artisans.
The primary objective of this project extends beyond vocational training; it is a strategic initiative to counter unethical religious conversions that exploit financial vulnerabilities. When women become economically independent and capable of generating their own livelihood, they remain resilient against external inducements, steadfastly safeguarding their Dharma and cultural heritage. By providing these vocational skills to the mothers of children attending our Bala Samskara Kendras, we ensure that every Hindu family is strengthened both socially and economically. The upcoming graduation of this inaugural batch serves as a powerful inspiration for our future endeavors to serve and protect the community.
