This year’s theme of the Hindu Mandir Empowerment Council as per President Tejal Amit Shah is “Hindu Diaspora – Mahakumbh of Sanatan Traditions” reflecting both the timeless heritage and the living spirit of our Dharma. She mentioned that our Mandirs serve as centers for Shradha (Faith), Budhi (wisdom), Karuna (compassion) and Ekta (unity). They are the anchors of identity in the diaspora, nurturing future generations while embracing the richness of our ancestrsl traditions. Vallabha Tantry, the Convenor of HMEC, that we are celebrating a vibrant convergence of temples, priests, volunteers, and devotees from all walks of life.
During the Conference, HMEC awarded a plaque recognizing Dr. Prakasarao Velagapudi’s lifelong, selfless service, rendered with true dedication and love for Hindu Dharma, Sanskriti and Samaj.
The second award was presented to Global Hindu Heritage Foundation for the unwavering and selfless service as a guiding light, nurturing devotee engagement through purpose driven accessibility, inspiring participation, enriching programs and meaningful outreach.
Speaking on the occasion, Prakasarao mentioned that Mother needs all our attention as it is ambushed by other religions and Hindus. Like a Cow, Sanatana Dharma is always giving to her children continuously. But we Hindus are not grateful and do not protect her. We are only takers, we are failing in our responsibility to be a faithful child.
He mentioned that Muslims have destroyed Kasi Viswanatha Temple, Mathura Krishna Temple and Ayodhya Rama Temple during Muslim Rule.
Now they are working toward destroying Tirumala Balaji Temple. He gave four incidents where few Hindus people are aware of.
1)    The government gave permission to construct Mumtaj Hotel at the footsteps of Seven Hills. GHHF and other organizations fought for more than months to get it cancelled.
2)    There are more than 4,000 Christians working at TTD. We have been constantly working to identify these and keep TTD as Hindu Temple without Christians working at it.
3)    GHHF opposed the Government decision to give permission to build Lulu Mall which might change the demography. We are working tirelessly to stop the construction of this mall.
4)    Recently a permit was approved to Iblighi Jamaat to hold a meeting near Tirupati with an expected 8,000 Muslims. GHHF and other organizations vehemently opposed and finally all Hindu organizations and Hindu leaders were able to get it cancelled.
Prakasarao requested every Hindu to be cognizant of what is happening to Bharat and Sanatana Dharma. Mankind will never have peace and tranquility without Sanatana Dharma.
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is ever grateful to Tejalji, Vallabhaji, and HMEC for awarding these two plaques.
