March 27th stands etched as a golden chapter in the spiritual history of Guntur city. On the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami, a massive Shobhayatra was organized under the aegis of Sri Rama Utsava Samithi, radiating devotion and cultural splendor. The yatra commenced at 04:12 PM from the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Mani Hotel Center, Old Guntur, amidst an atmosphere filled with spiritual fervor.

The event was inaugurated by distinguished dignitaries, Hon'ble Justice Boppudi Krishna Mohan (High Court of Andhra Pradesh) and Hon'ble Justice Sai Kalyan Chakravarthi (District Main Judge, Guntur), whose presence inspired and energized thousands of devotees.

More than 7,000 Hindu brothers and sisters participated in this grand procession. The streets of Guntur echoed with the powerful chants of “Jai Shri Ram.” Covering a distance of approximately 12.5 kilometers—from Old Guntur to the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Gorantla—the entire route turned into a vibrant sea of saffron flags. The procession featured four magnificently decorated chariots and three massive DJ systems that elevated the spiritual energy throughout the journey. Traditional performances such as Kolatam and martial arts displays like Karra Samu added a rich touch of heritage and valor to the event.

The Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) played a pivotal role in ensuring the grand success of this historic Shobhayatra. Notably, Rajesh Thunuguntla , National Secretary of GHHF Bharat and a member of the Board of Directors of GHHF USA, along with his dedicated team, meticulously supervised and coordinated every aspect of the event.

Despite the long journey lasting until 10:00 PM, the devotion and enthusiasm of the participants remained unwavering. At the conclusion of the yatra, Anna Prasadam was served to thousands of devotees, who partook in the meal with deep devotion and gratitude. Thanks to the seamless coordination of the Sri Rama Utsava Samithi and the strategic execution by the GHHF team, the Shobhayatra concluded successfully without any hurdles—leaving a lasting spiritual imprint on the hearts of all who witnessed and participated in this divine celebration
