Pastor's Petition Dismissed After Filing False Case on Hindus, Joyous Nationwide!
Kothapalem (Bapatla District): The religious conversion dispute that took place in 2021 in Kothapalem village, Pittalavanipalem Mandal, Bapatla district, created a nationwide stir. In Kothapalem, a village that was once entirely Hindu, a pastor named Chintada Anand illegally attempted religious conversions and church construction, which was opposed by the youths of the village.

Angered by this, the pastor filed a false case against the six youths who stopped him under the SC/ST Atrocities Act. The police also registered the case in support of the pastor due to pressure from the ruling party, and the affected youths appealed to the National General Secretary of the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF), Rajesh.

Upon learning of the matter, Rajesh immediately visited Kothapalem village and stood in support of the youths and villagers. In 2022, he began a legal battle against this false case in the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

Despite submitting proof that Pastor Chintada Anand was a Christian, he brought illegalities, such as the local MRO providing a false SC certificate, to the court's attention. As a result of Rajesh's tireless efforts, the Andhra Pradesh High Court issued a historic verdict on April 30, clearly stating that the SC/ST Atrocities Act is not applicable to individuals who have converted their religion. This verdict was considered a major setback for Christian conversion forces.

While Pastor Chintada Anand appealed to the Supreme Court challenging the High Court's verdict, Rajesh, on behalf of the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation, started a counter-fight in the Supreme Court challenging it.

Today, the Supreme Court dismissed the petition filed by Chintada Anand. The Supreme Court made a key remark that individuals who have converted cannot use their SC status for personal gain. This verdict will be released soon. The day this verdict is released will create a sensation nationwide. We are sharing this joy with all of you first.

Analysts believe that this verdict will establish new guidelines on the issue of religious conversions in the country and will serve as a warning to those who are filing false cases and enjoying illegal reservations. Many people are praising Sri Rajesh for this struggle, which has become a ray of hope for the Hindu community.
