[GHHF] Chicago meeting on “Hinduism at Crossroads: Time for Action” meeting at the India Hub in Chicago was a great success, with much appreciation.

The Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) was started 20 years ago with Prasad Yalamanci as Chairman, and me as President, and seven others as Board members with two purposes: 1) to free Hindu Temples from government control and 2) to preserve, protect, and promote Sanatana Dharma. At present, GHHF is organizing 16 projects in Bharat.
This is the partial summary of what was presented on Sunday at India Hub on May 24, 2026.
The State governments have abused their power to grab Hindu Temple lands, transferred Temple funds to the government treasury, demolished many Hindu Temples, employed highly politicized people into the governing Boards, some of whom happen to be members of other faiths, many of them are secularists with no interest in protecting the Hindu Temples, employed non-Hindus, and used Temple money for secular purposes.
In fact, these Hindu Temples are taken over by the State governments against Articles 25 and 26 of the Indian Constitution, operating without proper authority, tampering with the sanctity of Hindu Temples. But the State governments did not take the Churches and Mosques under their control. It is the Hindus who have not worked together and challenged the government, allowing it to operate at its will with no accountability.
GHHF has worked with several leaders who filed cases in the High Courts and the Supreme Court against the government, challenging the power of the State governments. After so many years of challenges, the time may have come to see that the Hindu Temples are freed from State governments.
May 18, 2026, is a historic day in the history of Hindu Temples. Last year, the Supreme Court sought the opinion of the Central government, which agreed to release the Temples from the State government’s control. Now the stage is set for the release of Hindu Temples from state government control. Are the Hindus ready for it? Is the state government ready to refrain from interfering with Hindu Temples as they are with other religious structures?
How was GHHF attacked by Muslims and Christians in Frisco, Texas?
In 2021 and 2022, GHHF wrote letters under the Right to Information Act to the District Collector, TUDA (Tirupati Urban Development Authority), and the Mandal Officer, asking them to determine whether they had granted any permission to build Churches in Tirupati. They have clearly stated that they did not give any permission to build Churches in Tirupati. That means all the churches and mosques were built illegally without taking permission from the authorities.
TUDA issued an Order to demolish the illegal structures in 2022. Consequently, several non-Hindu organizations protested against GHHF's distortion of facts. The demonstration by saying that GHHF is a hate organization that is advocating the demolition of all Churches. They have conveniently removed the word “illegal” and protested against us. Police monitored our house for several days to keep us safe.
Is the Andhra Pradesh government against maintaining the sanctity of TTD?
For over two years, GHHF was one of several organizations fighting to preserve the sanctity of TTD. Many organizations, many religious leaders, and many concerned Hindus were fighting vehemently to preserve the sanctity of TTD. Please look at the list of non-spiritual activities around TTD
Mumtaj Hotel: The Andhra Pradesh government has given permission to build a seven-story Mumtaj hotel at the foot of Tirumala Hills in Alipiri. It took more than three months to get the hotel's construction canceled. Instead of promoting a spiritual, religious, and sacred ambiance, the previous administration allotted 20 acres of land to construct the Muntaz hotel, which adheres to non-Hindu traditions and promotes pub culture that serves meat, liquor, and non-sacred items.
Tablighi Jamaat: The Andhra Pradesh government granted permission to Tablighi Jamaat to hold a two-day meeting in TIRUPATI with about 7,000-8,000 followers, during which the scholars pray to the Almighty Allah for forgiveness of sins. It is considered a terrorist organization. Saudi Arabia declared it “one of the gates of terrorism,” directing Friday sermons to warn citizens about its dangers. Russia dismantled Tablighi Jamaat-affiliated terrorist cells and has banned the group since 2009, with the Supreme Court adding it to its list of monitored extremist organizations. Similarly, Iran, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan have also prohibited it.
Lulu Mall: The Andhra Pradesh government gave permission to build Lulu Mall in Tirupati. GHHF has argued and written several letters expressing our concern for the safety of TTD and the demographic shift of the city, and the havoc that may cause in Hindu families. Based on the experience of other Lulu Malls in India, the management will employ two-thirds Muslim boys and one-third Hindu girls. With the opening of the mall, about one lakh Muslims will enter Tirupati, and there is a strong possibility that Tirupati may have a Muslim Mayor. Prayers held five times daily can obstruct streets, cause significant traffic congestion, and occasionally block access to Tirumala.
How many Christians are working at TTD?
GHHF has written several letters to TTD since 2019, saying as many as 20% Christians are working and requesting them to investigate. Sri Bandi Sanjaya said that 1000 Christians are working at TTD and requested them to investigate. No such action appears to have been taken. GHHF even suggested a six-step process for identifying non-Hindus that may enable them to take appropriate action.
What is the solution to prevent TTD and the State government from engaging in sacrilegious acts?
Declare Tirumala, Tirupati, and Tiruchanur as Punyakshetra (holy place) to preserve the sanctity of these three sacred places. In fact, in late April 1987, Chief Minister N.T. Rama Rao proclaimed, "If the Vatican is the religious center for Christians, Tirupati should be the same for the Hindus all over the world. This is my ambition. “Follow the guidelines implemented in Mecca and the Vatican to maintain the sanctity. This idea was met with fiery opposition from B. R. Naidu, the Chairman of TTD.
GHHF even suggested to TTD and Sri Pawan Kalyan to follow the model used by Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand, where they identified certain areas as holy and decreed that no alcohol, meat, or meat products would be allowed to maintain the sanctity of the Temple area.
GHHF was snubbed three Times to hold a meeting in Tirupati?
GHHF planned to hold a meeting on the need for the government to declare T3 a Punyakshetra. First, TTD granted permission for a meeting at Annamacharya Kalyana Madampam, but it was put on hold within a few days. Second, the Shankara Matt in Tirupati granted permission for a meeting, but they canceled it within 24 hours.  Third, we booked a hotel. Two hours before the meeting, they canceled the meeting. The hotel people received about 10 calls from different people in the morning to cancel the meeting. They threatened the manager, saying that they would ruin their business and create problems if they did not cancel.
Finally, we had a meeting at a Blind School operated by a great soul, Dr. Acharya.
How Sri B. R. Naidu, Chairman of the TTD Board, attacked GHHF in 2025 in Tirupati?
Instead of taking advice from others to improve the sanctity of TTD, B. R. Naidu became hysterical and got angry. These government officials have neither perspective nor tolerance for suggestions from fellow Hindus who have been working for decades, speaking about the importance of maintaining the sacredness of Tirumala and Tirupati.
He posted a message on X saying that GHHF is misleading the Hindus by suggesting that they declare Tirumala, Tirupati, and Tiruchanur as Punyakshetra, collecting illegal donations, and calling GHHF a fraudulent organization. This message was even posted on the TTD website.
Now we can guess who may have been behind the cancellations of the meeting in three different locations in Tirupati.
The message from B. R. Naidu is clear. Nobody can make any suggestions to him, and no Hindu can have any right to question them; no Hindu can have any kind of meetings to talk about the preservation of sanctity at TTD.
IS SRI Raghu Ramakrishna Raju the only torchbearer of Law and Order?
In his constituency, Sri Raju wanted to renovate the over 100-year-old Rama Temple. On Rama Navami, he went to Akividu to place garlands on the Ram Parivar. Christians did not allow him to enter the Temple, did not allow him to put a garland, by saying that everyone is a Christian here. Some of the Hindus who came to attend the program were attacked by rocks and nails.  Since that time, he has been advocating for the strict enforcement of law and order, irrespective of religion. He is taking steps to:
1)    Identify illegal structures and enforce law and order
2)    Enforce the law regarding the Mikes installed on the religious structures, asking the Police to remove them as per the law
3)    Any Dalit converted to Christianity is not eligible to file a case of atrocities against Hindus.
4)    He is asking the police to enforce Supreme Court judgments on the Atrocities Act.
5)    He was able to get the Dalit certificate of Chintad Anand canceled
6)    April 30, 2025, the Supreme Court decreed that all illegal structures must be demolished.
7)    He is also talking against the fake Pastors with unlicensed Churches.
8)    He is working on the misuse of electricity meters by certain religious groups.
9)    He is having a press conference addressing the grievances of people and the enforcement of law and order.
Sri Chandrababu Naidu requested all MLAs to hold a public Darbar to hear people's grievances.  What a Change. We sincerely hope the Chief Minister will give Hindus the same privileges he accords to other faiths.
Let us all pray that every State in Bharat will follow the law and make sure it is fair to every caste and every religion. No partiality should be accepted. Dharma is the way.
