"Sanatana means Eternal. In its purest form, this religion is Sanatana, because it is based on Truth. Truth is immortal and is never annihilated. It remains the same yesterday, today and forever. Therefore our true Sanatana Dharma, in its purest form, cam never be exterminated. It, however, does not follow that we should relax into inaction, in the belief that our religion is the best or that it can never be destroyed.” Swami Rama Tirtha
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is extremely happy to inform that we are conducting about 200 Bala Samskar Kendras in five States in India – Assam, Telangana, Andhra, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. We have many active Hindus who are helping in different ways to ensure our children are taught about the richness of Sanatana Dharma. Each school teaches different things and at the same time they follow the required syllabus to ensure all the students learn things that are common to all the students. It is challenging as the ages of the students vary from one school to another. This week they are taught about a moral story from Panchatantra.
The Panchatantra was composed more than 2000 years ago, yet because of the moral principles and wisdom it contains, it is still well-known and relevant among today’s kids. It was originally composed in Sanskrit, but it is now available in many different languages worldwide. There are 87 stories in the Panchatantra, and each one contains a moral lesson. It is a fantastic tool for comprehending the moral ideals of human existence. Through these tales, one can learn about psychology and moral values. Thus, the Panchatantra occupies a significant position in Sanskrit literature.
Fox and Ram Story
"In the past, two very fat rams were fighting in one place. They went back away and came running and started colliding. The two are so strong that they fight each other. Their heads were broken and there was a blood clot where the two of them collided. When a fox saw the fight, it was shocked to see the blood. She wanted to lick the blood before she could go away from the rams and hit it again. While licking, the two rams collided with each other. The fox in the middle of his head was crushed to death. Greed took the fox's life. I have been deceived by the hope of becoming a minister," damanaka said to Karataka. In addition, she started telling the story of "Ashadhabhuti", who deceived a monk named "Devasarma".
