[GHHF Assam] Activity Report for the month of June 2025
Amazing Flood relief efforts by Hindu Yuva Manch, Tejaswini’s efforts to protect Hindu girls and planting saplings.
1. Food distributed to flood victims by 12 teams, 36 members, 38 places,130 hours,1320 km 10 days cooked food (khichdi) distributed to 1100 families - 4500 (approximate) beneficiaries. Dry foods are distributed to about 350 families. Baby foods - beneficiaries -180 children. About 80 Kgs of beaching powder, pesticides distributed to 6 temples and 3 flood refugee centers. 290 KG Cattle feed, 3 quintals of vegetables, Medicines, and Drinking water to 100 families.
2. One day training camp for 83 Hindu Yuva Manch Village Coordinators from 22 villages.
3. 432 students participated in international Yoga Day celebrations.
4. Tejaswini (ladies’ group) Joypur team helped the poor families to get financial assistance. Distribution of cheques for medical treatment under CM Relief Fund, Assam to the beneficiaries under Raja bazar Mandal Booth No-39 today. Family members of this family, Tinku Baroi from a Basford community, got financial assistance with the help from our Tejaswini group.
5. GHHF team visited Kumsha village and interacted with Christian families there. We are trying to start one Bala Samskar Kendra there.
6. Several teenagers left other Hindu organizations and joined Hindu Yuva Manch. Then they have done the Temple cleanliness drive in their village. Gradually HYM gaining it's momentum amongst youths. Temple cleanliness drive might be a small act but it's attracting our youths.
7. BJP district Vice President Biplab Kanti Paul who is planning to contest as MLA in 2026 obtained 100 Booklet on “Love Jihad” which we are distributing regularly. I was also invited as guest speaker at the function where they felicitated 110 girls of SC community for their remarkable result in class X examination. I couldn't participate but Ronojit Baishnab from our organization went there and handed over 100 books to all the girls present there. Till today GHHF Assam team visited 2500 Hindu houses and distributed this book let.
8. Hindu Yuva Manch convinced on Hindu Youth from going to Mosque. Locals appreciated the work of Hindu Yuva Manch.
9. This communist fellow Arup Arjun runs a wine shop and collected tax from local poor Hindu families illegally. With the efforts of Hindu Yuva Manch boys, he returned 23000 rupees to locals. Locals appreciated the work of Hindu Yuva Manch.
10. World Environment Day celebrated by Bala Samskar Kendras of Assam by planting 200 saplings.
