[GHHF] Sri Y V Subba Reddy should either Clarify or resign as TTD Chairman.

On behalf of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation, we want to express our outrage over a statement made by Sri Y V Subba Reddy, the chairman of TTD about Jesus and Allah. He said,

“We are all protected by that Prabhuvu (God)  - That Jesus and Allah. If we attack them, they will punish us. All of us have to protect ourselves. Government will not leave any body. “

Tirupati East Police Station filed a case against the culprit, meaning the person who forwarded the message. We called the Police Station and asked the Police officer to find out whether they would confirm the statement made by TTD Chairman as true or doctored. He mentioned that since the case is filed against the culprit, they assume the Chairman did not make that statement.  When we asked the police officer whether they talked to the Chairman about the authenticity of the statement, he stated that he cannot speak on the phone and hung up.In order to make sure that he made the above statement on January 27, 2021 GHHF requested him to make a statement clarifying the authenticity of the video. More specifically we requested  him to say whether he made those statements shown in the video or not. If you made that statement either he should apologize to the whole Hindu community or resign as a Chairman of TTD  since he considers Jesus and Allah as protector, not Lord Venkateswara.

We also received response from two TTD officials who said since it is in litigation, they cannot divulge any information.

It was shocking to hear Jesus as protector from the mouth of a TTD Chairman, being in charge of the most sacred place on earth for Hindus. Many Hindus consider Lord Venkateswara as Kaliyuga Devudu (God), remover of obstacles,  the one who bless them profusely, and grant their wishes. Thousands and   thousands of people come trekking hundreds of kilometers, climbing the Hill on foot, waiting up to ten hours to have a glimpse of Lord Venkateswara, and donating crores of rupees to maintain and protect the Balaji Temple.

Many people consider his statements outrageous, appalling, disgraceful, and hurtful. That is not the statement one would expect from a person who is supposed to protect, propagate, and preserve Hinduism by serving Lord Balaji.

Even after a lapse of ten days, so such response was forthcoming from TTD Chairman. Since he has not apologized, we should not consider that deranged statement a mistake. It is deliberate, intentional, and planned speech which came out from his heart. He probably believed that Jesus and Allah are the ones protecting all of us. If it was a mistake or slip of the tongue, he would have clarified or denied the statement. Since no such clarification was given even after ten days, all Hindus should assume that he really believed in Jesus.

Since there was no denial of his statement, TTD Chairman is more interested in elevating Christianity, uplifting the Bible passages, exhilarating the status of priests, propagating Jesus, and appeasing his Christian boss. By doing so, he is downplaying the richness of Hindu dharma, insulting the image worship, discrediting the devotees of Lord Venkateswara, creating doubts about Hindu faith among Hindus and desensitizing the Hindu sentiments. Now the question is “Is he still a Hindu?” If so, how can he promote Christianity as a Chairman of TTD?

Sri Subba Reddy’s deprecating statement can also be construed that Lord Venkateswara is not the protector and only Jesus and Allah are protecting all of us. Consequently, he is hurting the feelings of Hindus, suffocating their sentiments, squeezing their faith,  battering their bhakti, and questioning the belief in Balaji. He is creating anger, frustration, disappointment, and numbness among Hindus.

It appears to be a ploy to make Hindus question their faith in Balaji by diverting them to Christianity by saying that Jesus is the protector of all of us?  You statement is beyond belief. It is anti-Hindu statement.

Also,  many people are beginning to think that he may not even believe that Lord Venkateswara is the protector of all of us. Ever since he became Chairman, he has been consistently tampering with the long established traditions and customs of TTD, by revoking the declaration of faith to allow the Christian Chief Minister to enter Balaji Temple to deceive the gullible Hindus, tinkering with the calendar by removing the festival information, encouraging the Christians in TTD without identifying and removing Christians employees,  belittling SVBC (Bhakti Channel) by appointing an alleged Christian as Chairman (who wears Cross necklace),  raising the entrance fee to have darshan of Balaji to discourage Hindus, diverting the funds to the government, non-accounting of the expenses, donating TTD money to select group of Swamijis, and the list goes on.

Since the Chairman appears to know Jesus as protector,  it is tantamount to endorsing what is in the Bible and the sayings of Jesus. We are sure that the Chairman would know what is written in the Bible about idol worship, how Jesus is diving the society and creating divisions in the family, stoning one’s own son, and selling the daughter as a slave. Still, he called Jesus as the protector of all of us. Let us see what Bible says:

Thomas Jefferson, Third President of United States observed,

"There is one notable thing about our Christianity: bad, bloody, merciless, money-grabbing, and predatory as it is - in our country particularly, and in all other Christian countries in a somewhat modified degree... Ours is a terrible religion. The fleets of the world could swim in spacious comfort in the innocent blood it has spilt...

Idolatry
Exodus 32:20; He took the calf which they had made and burned it with fire, and ground it to powder, and scattered it over the surface of the water and made the sons of Israel drink it

Deuteronomy 12:3: You shall tear down their altars and smash their sacred pillars and burn their Asherim with fire, and you shall cut down the engraved images of their gods and obliterate their name from that place.

Deuteronomy 13:9-10; If any of tour relative say “Let us go and serve other gods, … you shall not yield to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him, nor shall you conceal him. But you shall kill him. Your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. You shall stone him to death with stones because he sought to draw you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

2 kings 10:25-26; When he had finished making the burnt offering, Jehu said to the guards and officers, “Go in and kill them. Do not let anyone out.” So, the guards and officers put them to the sword, threw the bodies out, and went into the inner room of the temple of Baal. They brought out the sacred pillar of the temple of Baal and burned it.

Deuteronomy 7:25
You must burn up the images of their gods; do not covet the silver and gold that is on them or take it for yourselves, or you will be ensnared by it; for it is detestable to the LORD your God.

Jesus Came to divide, not to bring peace

Luke 12:49-53 "I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! But I have a baptism to undergo, and what constraint I am under until it is completed! Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. From now on, five in one household will be divided, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”… Luke: 12:51-52

Matthew 10:33-38    But whoever publicly disowns me I will disown before my Father in heaven.  "Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn "'a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law- a man's enemies will be the members of his own household.'

“Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves a son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.”

Stoning to death

Have you been appointed to make sure that Christian faith is slowly brought into Balaji Temple and creating doubt among innocent Hindus? It is shocking to find verses where people are stoned to death for either working, not listening, worshipping images, adultery and so on.

Sabbath

Overwhelming majority of Christians believe in Ten Commandments. About Sabbath, Exodus 35:2 commands: For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death.

Who will put them to death? Who has the authority in Christianity to put these people to death? You know that millions and millions of people work on Sunday (Sabbath day)

Adultery

Leviticus 20:13 “‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own head.”

Leviticus 20:10 "If a man commits adultery with another man's wife--with the wife of his neighbor--both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.”

Deuteronomy 22:22 “If a man is found sleeping with another man's wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel.”

Stubborn Sons

Deuteronomy 21:18-21 says: “If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey his father and mother, who does not heed them when they discipline him, then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his town at the gate of that place. They shall say to the elders of his town, ‘This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a glutton and a drunkard.’ Then all the men of the town shall stone him to death. So, you shall purge the evil from your midst; and all Israel will hear and be afraid.”

Based on these very few verses from the Bible it is obvious that Jesus is a jealous God who hated Idol worshippers who should be killed; he came only to create division, not to bring peace but a sword; and advocated stoning of these to death for stubborn sons, adultery, worshippers of images, and so on. If the Chairman is aware of the Bible and what is written, we request Sri Y V Subba Reddy, Chairman of the most sacred Lord Venkateswara Temple to either publicly acknowledge the authenticity of the statement that Jesus us the protector or publicly denounce his statement. If neither one is feasible for him to make a confession, we request him to resign from the Chairmanship immediately. If he is a true Hindu, he should not have any problem to acknowledge his mistake in making Jesus as the protector of all of us. We have heard from so many people and from himself that he went to Sabarimala many times, had darshan of Shiridi Saibaba, visited many Hindu Temple regularly, visited  many Ashrams and sought blessings from many Swamiji’s. Further a prominent Politician certified him to be a Hindu when some people questioned his faith. If he is changed to Christianity, he should announce it publicly or renounce his position forthwith. Why we request him to renounce his position? As a Christian he believes in “one book, one god and one way” philosophy.  That means the Christians think Bible is the only book, not Bhagavad Gita; Jesus is the only God, not Lord Venkateswara; Christianity is the only way, not Sanatana Dharma. Is this what Sri Subba Reddy believing and subscribing.  That means if a Hindu does not believe in Bible and Jesus, he will burn in the hell eternally. Christianity is an exclusive, intolerant,  and demeaning religion. Ten commandments require them to have no God before Jesus, not bow down to any other God, and do not make any image. Why should Sri Y V Subba Reddy should continue as Chairman and elevate Christianity which denounces idol worship.  Since Hindus believe in Image worship, and worship the image of Lord Venkateswara, why should Sri Subba Reddy continue as Chairman since he gives credit to Jesus as the protector of all of us.
