[GHHF] West Bengal; Then and Now – Bright future ahead for Hindus and Humanity.
Then
The Global Hindu Heritage Foundation has been working with several Hindu activists in West Bengal, including Tapan Ghosh, for more than 15 years. We provide financial support for his tireless effort to protect our Hindu ladies from the mafia, harboring them in the shelters, and providing opportunities to stand on their own feet. Tapan Ghosh came to Dallas twice and stayed with Milita Chand. GHHF organized two events talking about the plight of Hindus in West Bengal.
Also, I invited him to present the situation in Bengal at an international conference held at the Dwarka Temple Complex in Andhra Pradesh, with Dr. Subramanian Swamy as the chief guest.
One of the articles I wrote was on West Bengal, entitled “West Bengal is Burning; Hindu women are repeatedly raped, villages ransacked.” This is the summary of what I wrote in " What is happening to Hindus in West Bengal is horrible, inhuman, atrocious, demoralizing, and brutal. It is a lesson all Hindus have to learn sooner or later. Sooner the better. If we cannot stop these expansions, infiltrations, and tortures, we will face the same fate our forefathers have experienced. If we did not learn from the past history of Muslim rule for nearly ten centuries, Hindus are going to face ethnic cleansing, as Pakistan has done.
The Mamata government used government funds to support Muslim communities. Allowed illegal infiltration of Muslims from Bangladesh, restrictions imposed on the procession of Hindu deities Lord Rama and Durga Mata during festivals, and denigrated Hindu Gods and customs.
Now
Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari is on a mission to restore law and order, stop infiltration, end appeasement, and much more to bring justice to the State. He has taken several decisions to implement initiatives that benefit the people.
1) To stop the infiltration of Muslims from Bangladesh, a decision was taken to transfer approximately 600 acres of land to the Border Security Force (BSF) to facilitate fencing along the India-Bangladesh border. Adhikari directed the Chief Secretary and the Land and Revenue Department to complete the process within 45 days.
2) The government ordered a crackdown on cattle smuggling and unauthorized cattle movement, instructing police to strengthen checks in border districts and investigate illegal markets.
3) The government issued immediate orders to commence census operations in the state. Adhikari criticized the previous government for an 11-month delay in response to a Union Home Ministry directive dated June 16, 2025.
4) Ban on street namaz: Adhikari has officially banned offering Namaz on public roads and streets across the state. According to statements by BJP leaders and administrative directives, the policy mandates that all religious prayers be confined strictly to designated religious premises or mosques. The restriction is intended to prioritize public convenience, maintain law and order, and prevent traffic disruptions
5) The cabinet decided to extend social security and government support to families of individuals affected by alleged political atrocities. Adhikari referred to 321 BJP supporters who lost their lives during the party’s struggle in the state.
6) The state cabinet voted to discontinue all government welfare assistance based on religious classification. Funding for specific allowances run by the Minority Affairs, Madrasa Education, and Information and Culture departments will officially cease.
7) The government introduced strict restrictions on public religious practices, blocking roadways, such as street prayers, and clamped down on illegal structures. Law enforcement has also been directed to use heavy administrative action against illegal encroachments.
8) Adhikari issued a stern warning to protesters in Park Circus, asserting that stone-pelting will be eliminated in the state, just like in Jammu and Kashmir.
Times are exciting. Hopes are high. People are waiting for peace and tranquility. They believe the present government has already made several major decisions in reversing the unruly, bloody, chaotic, and corrupt government.
