[GHHF] Love Sory disrupted, husband died, wife gets converted, and then she returned to Hinduism with our help to fulfill husband’s dream.
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is pleased to share a beautiful story of conversion and reconversion to fulfill the husband's wish to build the Naga Temple (images of Nags on the granite slabs) on the main street in the village of Gajulapalli, Anantapur District.
The story is interesting. The husband and wife were living in this village. Husband always wanted to build an open Temple in the village with Nagas sketched on a granite slab, and in husband planted a neem sapling on the main road. Both of them thought they would build this Naga Temple once the tree grows and provides ample shade for people to sit under.
Unfortunately, he had died in his forties. The wife was alone, depressed, and brooding over her husband’s death. Christians realized the loneliness and depression the wife was experiencing and started talking to her by saying that Jesus would help her mentally and make her life worth living. Also, her economic condition would improve. She was trapped and converted her to Christianity. Years went by.
Our Pracharaks learned about the Neem tree and what happened. Our four Pracharaks begin discussing how she can realize her husband's dream. Sri Gopi Chary garu and three Pracharaks spent several hours convincing her that his soul would be unhappy and she would be responsible if he did not go to heaven.
She decided not to deny her husband’s chances of going to Punya loka. She decided to return to Hinduism and fulfill her dead husband’s dream of building Naga Temple under the neem tree. Sri Gopi Chary and our Pracharaks helped to design the granite slab and inscribe the image of Nagas. Three different slabs were installed.
Sri Gopi Chary Garu did the Prana Pratishta to the three Naga Slabs. The villagers are pleased to sit under the shade of the Neem tree and enjoy the spiritual vibrations.
GHHF played two crucial roles in the saga. 1) They convinced her to embrace Hinduism to fulfill her husband’s dream. 2) They performed Prana Pratishta to these three images of Nagas.
