Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is committed to preserving, promoting, and protecting Sanatana Dharma. We request the appropriate authorities, religious leaders, and Hindus to demand the following from the authorities:
Sri L V Subramanyam, ex-Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh, expressed his doubt about the capacity of the government to manage Hindu Temples. There are many secularists, atheists and non-believers occupying the government positions without even knowing about the fundamentals of Hinduism. If these Hindu Temples are run by these kinds of people what would be the future of these Temples? How can people in authority be able to manage the Hindu Temples?
He said that till about 200 years ago, Hindu Temples were managed by local Hindus. They were able to manage their Temples for centuries. Nowadays we see divinity being expressed in different ways through delivering lectures on religious matters, awakening the Hindus, and building news temples. He wondered as to why the government should have control over Hindu Temples.
Sri M Nageswara, ex-Chairman of CBI said that he opposed Sanatana Dharma Rakshana Board concept because we do not know how this Board functions and what shape it might take. He gave an example of Shiromani Sikh Sangat Gurudwara. It lost its basic principles advocated by Guru Nanak and became a political and terrorist organization. He feels village level management is better suited to Hindus.
Sri L V Gangadhara Sastry, Founder of Bhagavadgita Foundation felt that parents should take major responsibility of teaching Bhagavad Gita to our Children. He says that Bhagavad Git should be considered a National Book that should be introduced in educational institutions.  He mentioned that in New Jersey, one of the Universities made it compulsory for all the university students to take this course on Bhagavad Gita. We all should learn about Bhagavad Gita from our childhood. He echoes the aims of GHHF and feels that all the Temples should be free from government control. Ours is a Hindu Dharma, it will never be erased. The soul of Dharma will always remain.
Sr Remella Avadhanulu, a great Vedic scholar, said that he showed a book entitled “Handbook for effective management and administration of Temples, written by him and two other authors. This book was sponsored by GHHF more than 10 years ago.  It not only addresses the importance of preserving Hindu Dharma, it deals with the management. Once Hindu Temples are released from the government, this book addresses how to manage  the Temples and who is qualified to administer the Hindu Temples.
Smt. Pankaj Srinivasan talked about the practical problems Hindu society is facing and how we should get motivated to preserve our Temples. It is the responsibility of every Hindu to get involved.
Prakasarao Velagapudi mentioned that he has written about 75 letters to the Chief Ministers, Endowment Ministers, TTD Trust Board Chairman, Executive officers and others making suggestions, expressing outrage at certain decisions and the influence of non-Hindus. He said he compiled about 50 letters and published them into a book. All the invited speakers released the Book and distributed it to the media.
