Global Hindu Heritage Foundation has been talking about the decline of Hindu population and how do we address this issue to increase the numbers to Assam where Hindu population size is only about 60%. Within a couple of decades, Muslim population may take over the Hindus and may become majority. We keep talking to Sri Samratt Dutt, who is the GHHF Board member about the possible solutions. One solution is to encourage Hindu families to have more children.
The second possible solution is to make sure all Bangladeshi Hindus who entered Assam get the citizenship faster to increase the size of Hindu population. Sri Samrat mentioned about two major issues concerning the citizenship of Bangladesh Hindu. One is the government officials are making it difficult because of so much corruption. Second many Bangladesh Hindus are afraid to file the Application because of the fear that they may be sent back to Bangladesh. 
Then I suggested that our Hindu advocated Forum should meet and discus about submitting a Memorandum to the Assam State government officials expressing our concern and requesting them to speed up the process. He agreed to to discuss with the Forum and report back to us. 
This is the report from Sri Samratt, which is very encouraging,
“Following your instructions, the Hindu Advocates Forum organized two consecutive meetings for enrolling the names of Bangladeshi Hindus under the citizenship amendment act (CAA). Meeting was presided over by the Ld Senior Advocate Dhub Saha. As I am out of station for few days as such, I communicated with them via video conferencing. Following resolution passed in the meeting.
1. Hindu advocates forum will submit a memorandum to the district commissioner with a prayer to expedite the matter regarding the enrollment of those names of Bangladeshi Hindus who applied under CAA and issue a strict direction to the officials to stop harassing the applicants.
2. With the help of GHHF team Hindu advocates forum will organise awareness meeting to convince the Bangladeshi Hindus to come forward and submit application under CAA.
Memorandum submitted to the Addl District commissioner as well as Senior Superintendent of Police, Cachar regarding the enrollment of the names of Bangladeshi Hindu refugees who came to Bharat for religious persecution. They also requested the authorities to issue strict orders to the officials to not harass the family members of the family who already applied for citizenship under CAA. Team led by Sr Adv Nigar Thakur. SSP Cachar called for a meeting with the advocates for another reason and after the discussion Advocates of Hindu Advocates Forum raised the issue of citizenship.
Following the instructions of Prakash ji as decided by the advocates in the previous meeting held on 14.5.26 advocates started ground level work for the Hindus who came from Bangladesh to Bharat due to religious persecution.”
