A religious conversion dispute that took place in 2021 in Kothapalem village, Pittalavanipalem Mandal, Bapatla district, and the subsequent legal battle, have now become a nationwide topic of discussion. The historic verdict delivered by the Andhra Pradesh High Court, stating that those who have converted their religion are ineligible to register a case under the SC ST Atrocities Act, is considered a significant setback for the Christian mafia. Behind this victory lies the relentless struggle and perseverance of Rajesh Garu, National General Secretary of the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF).

Background of the Incident
In 2021, a pastor named Chintada Anand from Pittalavanipalem attempted to convert people and illegally construct a church in Kothapalem village. This was bravely resisted by Akkala Ramireddy and some other youths from Kothapalem village. Angered by this, Pastor Chintada Anand filed a false case against the youths under the SC ST Atrocities Act.

Rajesh's Initiative and Legal Fight
Upon learning of this, Rajesh, National General Secretary of the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation, immediately visited Kothapalem village. He organized several meetings there, encouraged the youths embroiled in the case, and stood firmly by them. Under his leadership, a legal battle against this false case was initiated in the Andhra Pradesh High Court in 2022.

Andhra Pradesh High Court's Historic Verdict
As a result of Rajesh's continuous efforts, the Andhra Pradesh High Court recently delivered a sensational verdict. It clearly stated that individuals who have converted their religion are not eligible to file a case under the SC ST Atrocities Act. This verdict is considered a severe blow to Christian conversion forces and illegal church activities. Following this judgment, a grand victory celebration was also organized in Kothapalem village under Rajesh's leadership.

Ongoing Battle in the Supreme Court
As the Andhra Pradesh High Court's verdict was unacceptable to the Christian mafia, Pastor Chintada Anand, with the cooperation of other Christian religious leaders, challenged this judgment and approached the Supreme Court. Accepting this as a challenge, Rajesh, on behalf of the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation, initiated a counter-battle in the Supreme Court.

In the first hearing yesterday, the case was adjourned to the 12th of next month. While the entire Christian mafia has united in this fight, the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation, under Rajesh's leadership, has not backed down and stands firmly against them. Analysts believe that the outcome of this case will significantly impact the issue of religious conversions in the country. Many are praising this ongoing legal battle led by Rajesh as a ray of hope for Hindu society.
