[GHHF] Why are we delaying response to Sri B R Naidu, the Chairman of TTD, for his disgraceful statement on Social Media
Dear Friends.
Lord Venkateswara is a Kaliyuga Devudu (Deity). Hindu devotees throng to have His darshan and receive the boundless blessing. As the name indicates “Ven” means Sin, “kat” means destroy. That means he is a God of destroyer of sins. Many Puranas extolled the greatness of Srinivasa.
From childhood I have believed in Balaji. In fact, He was instrumental in getting the Reserve Bank of India’s clearance in 1965 that enabled me to go to USA. Also, I fasted eating one meal on Saturdays for over 25 years.
Either as a person or President of GHHF, I will never do any thing to hurst the image of Balaji.
However, we will not keep quiet if the TTD officials are acting in contrary to dharma and obsecrating the sanctity of TTD.
• The utmost respect Lord Venkateswara, enormous faith in his powers, and immense confidence in the history of TTD prevented me to react and create needless dialogue among the devotees.
• Hundreds of our friends call and expressed their astonishment at the post by TTD Chairman.
• Some of our closest friends and confidants tried to reach Sri B R Naidu to talk about the great work GHHF is doing for the last 19 years on the ground level and request him to remove the post. So far, we have not been successful.
• Now I am in Tirupati and request a person-to-person meeting to resolve the issue.
• We all realize TTD is larger, greater and bigger than any official.
If we fail to get an appointment, as President of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation, I have an obligation to take appropriate steps to address the matter. It is my dharma to address the false accusation, and baseless statements.
• We will give 48 hours to respond to our official letter to withdraw post. We will take the necessary legal action against B R Naidu.
• We have already consulted the advocates who are ready to file an appropriate case.
GHHF is very appreciative of your understanding. We will pursue all avenues to resolve the matter. But we will not idle if the sanctity of TTD compromised.
Prakasarao Velagapudi PhD
President, GHHF
