On July 28, 2025, a program called “Shiva Abhishekam in Every House” was organized in a Dalit village in Rayalappa Doddi village of Brahmasamudram mandal. This program was initiated in remote, Dalit villages to teach them about the significance of Lord Shiva Abhishekam and counter the negative propaganda by other religions. We are performing every Monday in a Village to fortify their faith and teach them about the significance of our rituals. Sri Gopi Chary, the main Prist assisted by our Pracharaks, performed the Shiva Archana Puja.
•    First, everyone performed cow worship and circumambulated the cow remember the importance of the cow. It’s an opportunity to show appreciation and reverence for the cow. The ritual possesses a symbol of beautiful spirituality, and it has a deep universal significance.
•    After performing the Gadapa (Threshold) puja to symbolize the entrance into the house as equal to the entrance to the Temple.
•    All the villagers did Sankalpam by chanting their names, gotras, and the purpose of doing the puja
•    Tilak was applied to all the villagers who came to attend the Shiva Aradhana
•    The priests performed Ganapathi Puja and Navagraha puja to remove the impediments to complete the puja.

Performing Shiva Linga Abhishekam and Puja is worshipping Lord Shiva in his Rudra form, representation of the Universe. He is the remover of all sins and afflictions and helps in attainment of peace, prosperity and happiness.
Bathing of the Shiva Lingam symbolizes the removal of impurities (false self or ego) from our mind, the ego which is the source of all the hardships in life. “Stilling the modifications of the mind” (chitta vritti nirodhana). This purification ritual also symbolizes the elimination of our material interests that distract us from our spiritual path.
