[GHHF] Month of March activities and achievements of Assam
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is extremely happy to report that we have been conducting activities in the Silchar area of Assam for more than 5 years. Samrat Dutt, a Board Member of GHHF, spends significant time coordinating activities. He submitted this report for March 2026.
1. On the auspicious occasion of Sri Ramanavami, GHHF Udharbond unit organized one Hindu Jagran Sabha. More than 500 Hindus participated. After the Sabha khichdi prasadam distributed. Avishek Chanda- Hindu Yuva Manch coordinator and Swapna Paul- Tejaswini in charge were shared the stage as they spoke about importance of Rama Navami. He spoke about Hindutva and duty of Hindus towards their religion. He reminded Hindus to cherish the values of Lord Rama, emulate his character, appreciate his devotion to his parents and the discipline he practiced during his early years in the Guru’s Ashram.
2. GHHF Village committee formed in Labak village to tackle love jihad, land jihad. Love Jihad is prevalent in Assam. Our cadets are knocking on the doors of Hindu houses and giving them a Booklet on love jihad. It is to be noted that we printed 5000 booklets on Love Jihad, and 2200 books have already been distributed amongst Hindus.
3. To expand the network of GHHF activities, Samrat visited Jirighat and our GHHF worker Tapan Das conducted a meeting in Jiribam. Jirighat is the last village of Assam and Jiribam is the first village of Manipur. We formed village committees there. Jirighat is 57 km away from Silchar and Jiribam is 62.5 km away from Silchar.
4. Like every year, this year also *Hindu New Year (Gudi Padwa) * was celebrated by Bala Samskar students of Assam by drawing Rangoli at their houses.
5. Despite heavy rain GHHF workers Panku Rajbhar and Tapan Das organized a meeting in Dilkhoos village with an aim to start GHHF activities there. This village is surrounded by Muslims and northern part is dominated by Christian missionaries. A fruitful discussion was held with the villagers.
6. Visited the Bangladeshi Hindu refugees camp at Malinibeel and distributed stationery items like notebooks, pen etc. amongst children there. During NRC verification Hindu advocates forum helped them to get their names enrolled in NRC. We are now working to enrollment the names of Bangladeshi Hindus under the CAA. It's a long process but we are committed to this job. We have a team of Hindu youths in this village. They are working for the upliftment of these Bangladeshi Hindus who came to Bharat due to religious persecution.
7. Holi celebrated by all the Bala Sanskar Kendras of Assam.
