[GHHF] Connects Power to SC Colony Ramalayam After Short Circuit: Bringing Temples Back to Life – They Must Become Centers of Power!

The place of temples in Hindu Dharma is supremely sacred. They are not merely places where devotees worship their favorite deity. In truth, they must function as the foundation pillars that uphold Sanatana Dharma and as spiritual, cultural, and service centers for the society. Temples should not be limited to morning and evening lamp lighting and daily pujas; they must become true 'Shakti Kendras' (Centers of Power).

Why Must Temples Become Centers of Power?
A 'Shakti Kendra' is a center that enlightens the surrounding community. For a temple to become a center of power, it must focus on three main elements:

Spiritual Awakening (Ādhyātmika Chaitanyam): Ensure that Dharma Prachar (propagation of Dharma), bhajans, and discourses take place continuously, alongside daily pujas.

Social Service (Sāmājika Seva): Conduct service activities like aid for the poor, education initiatives, and health camps from the temple premises itself.

Cultural Heritage (Sāmskṛtika Vārasatvam): Pass on Dharma to future generations through Bal Samskar Kendras, encouragement of traditional arts, and religious education.

Only if these elements are activated, will the temple not only see devotees come and go, but also become the focal point for the development of the village or colony.

The Vision of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF)
The Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) has made this goal – that temples must become centers of power – its main agenda.

In the SC Colony Ramalayam in Mulagapudi, Nathavaram Mandal, Anakapalli District, the wires and all electrical appliances were recently burnt due to a short circuit. The lack of electricity forced a halt to daily pujas, evening bhajans, and the functioning of the Bal Samskar Kendra. Noticing this, GHHF immediately responded under the leadership of local activists Pothuraju Garu and Raju Garu, and initiated work to install new wires, switchboards, lights, and fans.

The problem of a temple is not just a problem for devotees; it is a problem for society. If the temple is not lit, the knowledge and culture that flows from that center of power will stop. We strongly believe that a temple functions as a center of power only by continuously conducting programs like the "Bal Samskar Kendra."

Providing an electricity connection to the Mulagapudi SC Colony Ramalayam is not just a form of help; it is a great effort to revitalize the temple. For change to occur in society, temples must regain their former glory. They are not just walls and idols; they must become vibrant centers of religious activity. Every Hindu and every temple committee needs to work with this vision.
