Sri Lakkavajjala Venkata Gangadhara Sastry Garu spoke for more than two hours in Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple on July 29 evening about Bhagavad Gita. More than 250 people attended and listened with drop silence. He talked about his childhood, his appreciation of Ghantasala, his work as a film journalist, his paly back singer experience of singing more than 100 songs and how he had taken up propagating Bhagavad Gita to humanity. 
    He mentioned about the greatness of Bhagavad Gita and how many Westerners have appreciated Bhagavad Gita, how Oppenheimer remembered the Vishwa rupia when he developed and explored the Atom Bomb. How he remembered the verse that says I am the Death as he has shown the Vishwa Rupa and how compared it to the explosion. 
    The program was started with welcome, Priests changing Veda mantras and Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji devotee children singing 13th chapter of Bhagavad Gita. Followed was the speech by Prakasarao Velagapudi on the potential danger to Hinduism, Hindu indifference, and the possible danger for the survival of Hinduism in Bharath.
    He appreciated the effort of Sri Ganapathy Sachidananda Swamiji in propagating Bhagavad Gita and inspiring children and youngsters to memorize all 700 verses of Bhagavad Gita. Addressing the youth, he asked them to learn the meaning as a second stage in the learning Bhagavad Gita and as a third stage he asked them to practice it. He asked them to remember the four statements which are invaluable in our scriptures and also to our own lives: Matru Devo Bhava, Pitru Devo Bhava, Acharya Devo Bhava and Atidhi Devo Bhava.
Dr.  Lakkavajjala Gangadhara Sastry Garu, with a thorough Research of Bhagavad Gita, the spiritual essence of Indian philosophy, over a period of 10 years, is the first singer of the country who created his own musical renderings, with latest technologies of highest standard, of all the 700 holy verses along with their Telugu and English translations, the Audio Recordings of which generate stunning  visual effects virtually.
