As many of you may remember that GHHF published an article demanding the restoration, renovation and expansion of the Vakulamata Devi Temple in May 2012. Read below what was written:
We are happy to announce that Sri Swami Paripoornananda of Sree Peetham and Dr. Ghazal Srinivas of Savetemples Movement (GHHF) are leading the march in Tirupathi to highlight the urgency of restoring the Vakula Mata Temple. They just met Executive Officer of TTD and explained the need to renovate and see that TTD reestablish the Temple to it's original glory.
MARCH PLANNED: Sri Swami Paripoornananda Swami and Dr. Ghazal Srinivas have planned to undertake Precession on SUNDAY (August 19) in Tirupathi from the Railway Station to the site of Vakulamata Temple. They will climb the mountain top and demand TTD to rebuild the Temple immediately. More than 4000 people are expected to join the Procession.
Starts at 6:30 am at Railway Station and proceed to Vakula Mata Temple.
