Millions of Lord Venkateswara devotees go to Tirumala, wait hours to have His Darshan, and seek His blessings. They donate huge sums of money to TTD, not knowing how the government is abusing the donations and using them for non-Hindu activities. By not questioning the use of donations, devotees contribute to the ruination of the sanctity of the donations. Temple Lands are being donated to promote secular activities that affect Tirupati's spiritual climate. 
    Your indifference, silence, apathy, disinterest, and selfishness have become the weapons of the Politicians to engage in many activities that threaten the sanctity and holiness of Lord Venkateswara. 
    Civilizations die from within. The histories of other countries remind us that no civilization is immune to the forces of change, no matter how mighty they appear. Disinterest among Hindus leads to rampant government corruption. Extensive usurpation of Temple lands, dilution of the sanctity of Hindu Temples, prevalence of an adharmic climate in and around TTD, presence of other religions in Hindu Temples, and failure to protect Tirupati from encroachment by non-Hindus can affect the sanctity of the Lord Venkateswara Temple and the surrounding areas. 
    Devotees of Lord Venkateswara must take a greater interest in understanding how the activities of successive governments are tarnishing the religious and spiritual climate in Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam, eroding trust among devotees, affecting the impact of the presence of non-Hindus on Hindu employees, and the extent of conversion taking place in and around TTD.  
    Please remember the time it takes for you to have a darshan of Lord Venkateswara. Hundreds of Hindus are being converted to other religions, illegal structures in Tirupati are being built, TTD money is being used for non-Hindu activities, and hundreds of Hindu Temples are being closed due to a lack of resources, and Christian employees of TTD are engaging in the conversion of Hindu employees. Your active involvement and speaking about the activities that affect the sanctity of TTD are the time of the hour. 
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation was started about 20 years ago with a mission to make efforts to abolish the Hindu Endowment Act, which denied the right of Hindus to manage their own Hindu Temples. The governments have taken over the Hindu Temples, making more than Rs. 50,000, while neglecting the Temples, making less than Rs. 50,000. The governments over the last several years have abused the Hindu Temples, neglected the sanctity of Hindu Temples, and illegally occupied Temple lands, illegally donated the Temple money to other religions, transferring the Temple money to the government exchequer, willfully allowing non-Hindu structures to be built, deliberately failing to demolish illegal structures, allowing meat and wine shops on the Temple roads and countless other activities ruining the sanctity of Tirupati and Tiruchanur. 
GHHF requests all Devotees of Lord Venkateswara to be aware of how TTD and the AP government failed to maintain the sanctity of Tirumala, Tirupati, and Tiruchanur.   The following are some of the activities that are threatening the Holy City.
Please talk to your contacts in the government to find out whether it is acceptable for TTD to undertake or propose these projects, and how they are protecting the sanctity of Lord Venkateswara Temples and their surrounding areas.
In the last few years, just see how the successive governments have undermined the sanctity of TTD and the surrounding areas. Your involvement can make a difference. 
•    Right to Information Act does not apply to the TTD event, though it is the government that is managing. That means a Hindu has no right to seek any information. 
•    Why TTD is not acting against hundreds of illegal structures in Tirupati
•    The adulterated Laddu controversy has not yet resolved
•    The construction of Mumtaj Hotel at the footsteps of Seven Hills
•    Granting permission to build Lulu Mall in Tirupati
•    Giving permission to Tablighi Jamaat, where 10,000 Muslims were supposed to hold meetings in Tirupati
•    The Parakamani scandal and its extent should be investigated, and appropriate legal measures should be taken against the people involved. 
•    Failing to identify 4000 Crypto Christians working at TTD
•    Unwilling to close the wine and liquor shops in Tirupati 
•    Continuous transfer of TTD lands for government purposes
•    Failing to identify and demolish illegal structures across the State
•    TTD funds are not used for the pilgrims’ facilities, accommodation, and transportation.
•    Misusing the TTD funds for non-Hindu activities such as public sanitation, public roads, public buildings, etc.
•    No TTD money should be transferred to the government treasury
These are some of the activities affecting the sanctity of TTD. It is in the hands of the devotees of Lord Venkateswara to wake up, speak out, and stand up for the preservation of the sanctity of Lord Venkateswara and the three cities. Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is suggesting that Tirumala, Tirupati, and Tiruchanur be declared as Punya / Divya Kshetra where only Hindu activities are allowed to be practiced.
