The government accused Tilak of being a "traitor" with the article titled "Deshdaurbhagyam". Along with others, he was sentenced to exile from the country and imprisoned in Mandalay jail in Burma. After spending a year in Mandalay prison, Tilak agreed to certain conditions and released him. British officials suggested. But Tilak did not retreat for a moment. "Now I'm 53 years old. If I don't want to wait, I'll be released from jail in just a few more years." Will be. That day I will be able to serve the people.
