“My Master used to say, “This world is a huge lunatic asylum where all men are mad, some after money, some after women, some after name or fame, and a few after God. I prefer to be mad after God.” Swami Vivekananda
Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is committed to transmit the richness of Sanatana dharma to the youngsters in terms of the depth and width of knowledge, the sacrifices of national heroes, miracles of Maha Rishis, science and mathematics, and the importance of maintaining the traditions and customs. This week we talked about the greatness of a spiritual giant Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.
Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, the great prophet, who has established the eternal religion in the advanced society, has changed the perspective of Narendra who is rational and wise. He dedicated his life to spiritual contemplation. Ramakrishna, who is perfect in devotion, can see his mother in his wife.
A few days ago, our teachers talked about Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa to our students. It was decided that we should assess as to how much the students grasped, remembered and digested the story. To make sure the students understood and remembered the story, GHHF has decided to devote a portion of the class to Q & A session.
Some of the questions the students were asked in these classes are as follows:
When was Sri Rama Krishna born – date and year?
What was the village where he was born.
What were the names of His father and mother.
Was he a good student?
What was his Guru’s name?
What age was he married?
What was his wife’s name?
What kind of decease he suffered with?
Which hospital was he admitted to?
Who was the name of   his spiritual disciple?
Whom did he transfer his spiritual strength?
When did he die?
Who started Ramakrishna Matts?
