Sir John Woodroffe (1865-1936)

“Hinduism may not be called a religion in the sense other religions are known. It is much more than a religion; it is a total way of life. Hinduism has no founder. Its authority is Eternal Truth. The cumulative record of metaphysical experimentation. Behind the lush tangle of religious imagery, is a clear structure of thought. Hindus have always been metaphysicians at heart. It is the underlying ideas, and not the images which count. The forms are many, the reality is one.”

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation is very happy to announce that we organized a meeting with Bala Samskar Kendra students and teachers from West Godavari District on June 14th in Martela Village. More than hundred students and 12 teachers attended the meeting to show case the talents of the students. GHHF started the Bala Samskar Kendras about six months ago. They have chanted many Slokas such as Guru Mantras, Ganapathy Sloka, Saraswathi Sloka, Brahma Murari song, Desa bhakti Geetas, demonstrated Surya Namaskar positions and many more. Very impressive display of talents. It was very satisfying to see our children learn about the richness of Sanatana Dharma. WE feel that the sowed of pride is being inculcated in their minds at an early age and believe that they will be our future protector of Bharath. Once we teach the values, morals, ethics and compassion, they will be symbolize the rich heritage.

I spoke about the importance of Hindu values, talked about the importance of instilling pride and imparting the richness of Hinduism. Our society has failed to teach the grandeur of Hindu ethos. We talked about the scientific and spiritual knowledge embedded in our scriptures. As Mark Twain said that there is nothing under the sun that our ancient Rishis have not addressed.

We requested the teachers to make sure that they teach the proper values and create pride in our heritage. The future of the students rests in the hands of teachers. Hence that should conduct the classes for the sake of Bharath.

To appreciate our faith and its richness in literature and culture, we need to understand the true nature of Christianity and Islam. Unfortunately, we are still ill-equipped with the true nature of other religions. Violence, terror, killings, rapes, and destruction are advocated by Christianity and Islam. Hindus are the only ones who say that all religions are the same while the other two Abrahamic religions abhor Hinduism and do not have any respect. Both these religions have committed to wiping out Hinduism from the planet. It is time to realize the potential danger to Hinduism and start getting reacquainted with the richness of our heritage and understand why ahimsa, tolerance, inclusiveness, respect for others, and truth can save humanity from extinction.

Srinivas Pinnamaneni talked to Teachers separately about molding the children's personalities. He said the future of our country depends on our children. It is the responsibility of the teachers to protect Dharma by molding the children and instill pride. They also need to show the difference between Bhagavad Gita and Christianity and Islam. The future of Bharat is in their hands. If they are successful in imparting the Hindu ethos, Bharath will be saved from Abrahamic religions intolerance and terror.
