[GHHF] Annadanam was distributed in remembrance of a great friend – Sri Penumacha Narasimha Raju

“There is a magnet in your heart that will attract true friends. That magnet is unselfishness, thinking of others first; when you learn to live for others, they will live for you.” —Paramahansa Yogananda Global Hindu Heritage Foundation distributed food to the needy on August 14 in remembrance of that selfless great soul - Sri Penumacha Narasimha Raju.  He has been one of my best friends for about 40 years. He is always ready to help and used to go out of his way to help me when the need arose.  I could count on him on any issue, at any time and on all occasions. He was dharmic soul.  As Morgan Matson says, “Real friends are the ones you can count on no matter what. The ones who go into the forest to find you and bring you home.  And real friends never have to tell you that they’re your friends.” My wife and I were doing PhD at Mississippi State University (MSU) from 1967 through 1971. Raju Garu and many of our friends came from India to earn a master’s in engineering. He came in January 1970 and instantly became friends. Later, his family joined. Our families used to meet very frequently and established a very close bond. Then, in 1974, We moved to Jackson, MS, and started working at Jackson State University. At that time, about ten families became good friends, and even today, we continue our friendship. As we all know that no body’s life is smooth or stress free.  It is friends who can provide comfort and help release stress. In general, if you have friends you can count on, you are lucky and fortunate. Sri Raju was such a true friend you can count on. He is always there when you needed him. Raju Garu and his family moved to Kosciusko after completing his master’s degree and worked for a few years. Then they moved to Jackson and found a house in the neighborhood where we were living, about three-minute walk from our house. In 1972, we both had daughters born about one month apart. Since we were living in the same neighborhood, our friendship strengthened.                 Slowly, over the years, my family got involved in the construction of the Hindu Temple in Brandon, MS. I became the founding Chairman of the Temple in 1985. Raju Garu was always with me on every step of the way, helping without hesitation. When I resigned because of some differences in the Board regarding implementing Dharmic rules as per the scriptures, Raju Garu always stood by me. He wholeheartedly defended my position in preserving and protecting Dharma in the operation of the Temple. He and his family provided the emotional support I needed at the time.                 Many people used to say we are like brothers, always together and doing many things jointly.                   He even helped the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation, established in 2006. For close to three years, he used to help with our accounts. It was always comforting to know that he was always there whenever I needed his help.                  It was in 2009; he and his wife went to India to attend a wedding. Unfortunately, he developed severe stomach pain, and he was admitted to the hospital in Hyderabad.                 Everybody was shocked to learn that he had left his body. They all cried to learn of his demise. As a close friend, I often remember his good nature, his righteous behavior, his moral compass, and his good nature. I feel lucky to have met a friend like him.  Kudo to Sugana Garu for doing many charitable activities in memory of Raju Garu. She sponsored Annadanam last year also. GHHF is very fortunate to distribute annadanam again this year. Annadanam was distributed on August 14 in remembrance of that great soul, Penumacha Narasimha Raju. Nearly three hundred people were served Annadanam. The distribution started in China Kakani Temple and then moved to Guntur. Our team went to different locations to serve the meals. [GHHF] Love Jihad atrocities continue unabated daily in India: Deceptive conversion to Islam via rapes, stabbings, and brutal killings.

“Do not marry idolatresses until they believe, for indeed, a believing slave woman is better than an idolatress, even though she pleases you. And do not give your daughters in marriage to idolaters until they believe, for indeed, a believing slave is better than an idolater, even though he pleases you. These people invite you to the fire, and Allah invites you to the garden, and to forgiveness by his grace, and explains his signs to mankind so that perhaps they will remember.” (Qur’an 2:221) Love Jihad, which refers to the alleged practice of Muslim men trapping Hindu and Christian women in romantic relationships with the intention of converting them to Islam, has been a topic of high concern of all. Some reports suggest that Muslim men use Hindu names to disguise their religious identity and gain the trust of their partners.  Organiser magazine summarized several Love Jihad cases reported in 2024. But one must be careful to realize that there could be as many as thousands of possible cases not reported in the publicly. There could be untold number of Hindu girls silently experiencing the brutality, deception and forced conversion to Islam. We will never know. Fortunately, Organiser is doing a yeoman service to “trace as many as 200 reported cases of this pattern, involving Muslim men posing as Hindus or Muslim women forcing Hindu men to convert upon marriage. These are the reported cases, and with this intensity, it would not be an exaggeration to say that the actual crime could be five times higher on the ground than what is reported here.” “Love Jihad”: 30 chilling incidents expose exploitation, abuse & murder of Hindu girls in live-in relationships A disturbing pattern of abuse has emerged from 2021 to 2025, where Hindu girls were allegedly entrapped, exploited, and even murdered in deceptive live-in relationships. These chilling cases, often involving identity concealment and religious coercion, reveal a systematic threat to their safety and dignity. (August 2, 2025). Anushu Saluja gave a graphic description of torment Hindu girls go through as they are trapped. She writes: “Love jihad” is a means to augment the population of Muslims. It is a way for increasing the number of Muslims at the cost of Hindus … the Muslims have hatched a conspiracy. They generally target young girls … People unnecessarily blame Hindu organizations for rallying against love and preventing Hindu girls from marrying Muslim boys … An important thing is that they convert the girls, after marriage … A Hindu girl who gets married into a Muslim family has to wear a burqa [veil], her name is changed immediately, she has to follow their religious tenets, forsaking all her customs and traditions. She is compulsorily made to undergo all this …” Dr. Radhasyam Brahmacahri wrote a book on” Love Jihad in India: Seducing and converting of non-Muslim Girls to Islam.” The wombs of Muslim women have emerged as the most effective weapon in dominating the demographic as well as democratic (countries). And when Muslim men seduce and marry non-Muslim women, whom they generally convert into Islam, the wombs of these kafir women also add to this demographic war of Muslims to their advantage. Muslim believe that Allah will grant victory to Islam without swords, without guns, without conquest. We don’t need terrorists; we don’t need homicide bombs. Few examples of newspaper headings: “UP: Mohammad Naseemuddin poses as ‘Ravi’ to marry a Hindu widow, forces her and her children to convert to Islam, arrested by Bijnor police,” OpIndia, July 28, 2025: Muslim slits the throat of Hindu woman, killing her, after she refuses to marry him and convert to Islam; Aug 4, 2025, 9:00 am By Robert Spencer. Uttar Pradesh Muslim youths misusing beauty parlours for ‘Love Jihad’, alleges Pandit Dinesh Falahari (Organiser) Rashid traps Hindu girl in ‘Love Jihad’ by pretending to be a ‘secular Hindu’ (Santan Prabhat July 11, 2025) Reward of ₹5 lakh to Hindu Youth if he marries a Muslim girl (13 Aug 2025; Sanatan Prabhat) The contract given for conversion has made Muslim youth its brand ambassadors. And behind the conversion company is Anwar Qadri. He is a politician by name. But he is accused of trapping Hindu daughters in Indore. Love Jihad Funding EXPOSED Congress Councillor Anwar Qadri has been accused of paying paid ₹3 lakh to Sahil & Altaf to trap Hindu girls, build a relationship, and try to convert them. They did it. Congress leader Anwar Qadri is on the run. His daughter Ayesha was arrested for aiding him using secret SIM cards. This is not just a crime, it’s a war against Hindu daughters. Congress leaders caught backing Love Jihad networks. Posters promise  ₹20L for Brahmin girls,  ₹15L for OBC,  ₹10L for SC/ST. (LinkedIn July 30, 2025) Recently, a major conversion racket has been exposed in Uttar Pradesh, with over 1,500 Hindu girls reportedly victimized. The cleric behind the conversions, known as Chhangur Baba, has been arrested. Victims have come forward, revealing the exploitation and threats they faced. The investigation, initially started by SCF and later taken over by UPATS, uncovered a network extending to Maharashtra, Dubai, and Mumbai. The cleric, Jamaluddin, alias Shangur Baba, targeted widows and childless women, deceitfully converting them. A significant foreign funding trail of over 100 crores from Gulf nations has also been discovered, funneled through shell accounts and fake NGOs. (Struggle for Hindu Existence, July 13, 2025) Love Jihad starts at Beauty Parlours Now Love Jihad entered the Beauty Parlour where Muslims work on the face and bodies of the Hindu women and exploit the vulnerable ladies. It appears that “They grow physically close to women during facials, haircuts, and skin treatments. From there begins the manipulation. Once the girl is trapped, she is cut off from her family and society,” he added. The letter written by Pandit Dinesh Sharma Falahari to UP Chief Minister accuses Islamic organizations of providing financial and logistic support to these youths to run the operation covertly. The state of Uttar Pradesh, the country’s most populous province, passed an ordinance in 2020 against “love jihad.” The Chief Minister, who heads the state government, threatened those resorting to this alleged conspiracy, and, thereby, sullying “the honour and dignity” of Hindu women with dire consequences, even death. The Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Ordinance 2020 is mainly concerned with preventing religious conversion “by misrepresentation, force, undue influence, coercion, allurement or by any fraudulent means or by marriage,” seemingly carried on by Muslim men as a part of the insidious scheme of “love jihad.” {{album_1436}}

[GHHF] Sri Sairam Poguluru lecture on the relevance of the lessons from Ramayana for successful business management in the modern world

Global Hindu Heritage Foundation and Dharma Jagruti Foundation organized a lecture by Sri Sairam Poguluru, who spoke about the relevance of Ramayana to modern-day management. He is ably joined by his wife, supplementing the views. He enumerated the characteristics of Lord Rama, the qualities of a Guru, Rama’s instructions to Bharatha as the governance of a kingdom, Maricha’s appeal to Lord Rama, and similar timeless stories, highlighting the significance of the Ramayana as a sacred text that offers profound life lessons. He talked about several stories that are relevant to the functioning and successful business management. I may not have covered all the points he covered during his presentation. Following are some of the ideas enumerated to more than 40 enthusiasts who attended the speech. They gave a round of applause for his enumeration of the connection between Ramayana and modern business organizations. Rama’s advice Rama’s advice to Bharata applies to modern organizations for their successful and efficient operation. Starting with human relations at home and Bharata’s conduct and self-discipline, the questions cover his reverence and service to his parents, teachers, and elders to ensure domestic harmony. It embraces all Departments of Government activity, such as Home Affairs, Defense, Foreign Affairs, Finance, Labor Relations, Agriculture, etc. "I hope the ministers you have appointed are valiant like you, full of learning, who have controlled their senses, who are born of high pedigrees (cultured family) and know the meaning of signs (discreet and shrewd)." "I hope you prefer learned men to thousands of fools. No help will come to a king if he seeks advice from thousands of evil advisers or even ten thousand of them." "I hope the person appointed as your Commander-in-chief is ever pleased, full of resolution, is gallant and talented, is spotless and well-born and devoted and clever." "Do you keep an eye on the eighteen functionaries of the enemies and fifteen functionaries of your side through three unknown, independent spies?  Teram Work The Ramayana emphasizes teamwork and collaboration through the story of Lord Rama's journey and his allies. It highlights the importance of delegating tasks, utilizing individual strengths, and fostering unity to achieve a common goal. The epic demonstrates how effective communication, trust, and shared responsibility can overcome seemingly impossible challenges. Examples are found in working with Vanaras and Hanuman to see Sita. The Vanara Sena, or monkey army, in the Ramayana, was a crucial force assisting Lord Rama in his quest to rescue his wife Sita from the demon king Ravana. Led by Sugriva and Hanuman, they played a pivotal role in the war against Ravana's rakshasa army. The Vanaras were not merely monkeys, but rather a group of powerful beings with human-like qualities and intelligence, possessing exceptional strength, agility, and strategic abilities. When Lord Rama embarked on the mission to rescue Sita from Lanka, he led an army of Vanaras (monkeys) to construct a bridge across the ocean. The unity, coordination, and collaboration among the Vanaras, under the leadership of Hanuman, showcase effective teamwork in achieving a common goal. Lord Rama trusted Sugriva to lead the Vanara sena in the search for Sita. Lord Rama's trust in Sugriva's leadership abilities and encouragement boosted Sugriva's confidence, highlighting the significance of trusting and empowering team members.  How is Dharma related to organizational success? "The Importance of Dharma: Lord Rama's commitment to his duty (dharma), even when facing personal loss, is a central theme. This includes fulfilling responsibilities as a son, husband, and ruler. Upholding responsibilities and moral duties with sincerity is taught. Dharma (righteous conduct, duty, ethics) is profoundly relevant to modern business management. Rama's unwavering commitment to Dharma, even in the face of immense hardship and personal sacrifice, provides a robust framework for ethical leadership and sustainable organizational success. A Dharma-driven business doesn't just focus on maximizing shareholder wealth. It actively considers and balances the needs of all stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and the broader community. In a world where trust in business is eroding, Dharma emphasizes transparent communication, fair dealings, and delivering on promises. This builds lasting trust with employees, customers, and investors, leading to increased loyalty and resilience. While talking about big and successful houses today, like Tata’s, they are successful only due to their high ethical conduct. They are paying their obligations towards society. Their corporate social responsibility is also outstanding. Strategic Thinking Lord Rama trusted Sugriva to lead the Vanara sena in the search for Sita. Lord Rama's trust in Sugriva's leadership abilities and encouragement boosted Sugriva's confidence, highlighting the significance of trusting and empowering team members.  Rama entrusted Hanuman with critical missions. Similarly, managers should empower capable team members, granting them authority and resources to succeed. Sundara Khanda’s Relance The Sundara Kanda of the Ramayana exemplifies several principles that align closely with modern business management and success strategies.  Leadership, planning, execution, undivided attention, clear vision, complete focus on the mission, and resilience are the qualities vital for organizational achievement. Hanuman faced multiple threats but tackled each with a mix of skill, courage, and intelligence. He never deviated from his mission to find Sita at a fixed time and convey the message to Rama. Hanuman explores Lanka covertly, observing defenses, understanding Ravana’s court, and locating Sita. In any business, you will find Market research, competitor analysis, and customer insight before making major business moves. Hanuman adapts to multiple challenges—navigating Surasa’s test and overcoming Simhika’s grip. Businesses must develop flexible strategies, ready to pivot in response to market shifts. Sri Sairam Poguluru gave an inspiring lecture quoting passages from Ramayana, reciting in Sanskrit with detailed explanation.  We appreciate his depth of knowledge.   Your donations are appreciated. [GHHF] A Call to Action by Dr. Prakasarao Velagapudi for Pilgrim Safety in Tirupati

The recent incident near the Tirupati East railway station, where a Muslim auto driver allegedly attacked Hindu pilgrims, has raised serious concerns about the safety and well-being of devotees visiting the sacred town. In response, Dr. Prakasarao Velagapudi, President of the Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF), has written a strong letter to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman, Sri B R Naidu, urging immediate and decisive action. Tirumala is one of the most revered Hindu pilgrimage sites in the world. Millions of devotees visit every year, seeking a spiritual and religious experience. It is the sacred duty, or dharma, of the TTD to ensure that these pilgrims are safe, comfortable, and free from any form of abuse or harassment. The August 8, 2025, incident highlights a dangerous lapse in this responsibility. In his letter, Dr. Velagapudi has outlined several crucial steps that the TTD, in collaboration with the Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA) and the Police Department, must take immediately. Key Measures Outlined by GHHF: Regulated Auto Rickshaw Services: A structured system is needed where all auto rickshaws are registered and assigned to designated parking areas. Pilgrims should be able to request an auto through a police-managed system, ensuring fair service and accountability. Standardized Fares: To prevent overcharging and exploitation, a standard rate card for auto fares to different parts of Tirupati and Tirumala should be implemented and strictly enforced. Enhanced TTD Bus Services: The TTD's "Dharma Radhams" (buses) must run on a frequent schedule, ideally every 30 minutes, to provide a reliable and safe transportation option for pilgrims. This service is crucial for pilgrims traveling from the railway station to Tirumala. Clear Bus Stands: The designated TTD bus parking area at the East Railway Station must be cleared of all other vehicles to allow smooth bus operations. Strict Enforcement and Punishment: Any auto driver who violates the established rules, or is found to be abusing, attacking, or insulting pilgrims, must face severe consequences, including the confiscation of their vehicle and immediate arrest. Any delay in addressing these issues could embolden disruptive elements and further endanger the lives and dignity of innocent pilgrims. Dr. Velagapudi has requested that the TTD not only respond to these concerns but also announce the concrete steps it is taking to protect its devotees. The safety of every pilgrim should be the top priority, ensuring their journey to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara is a truly divine and peaceful experience.

Through Abhishekam the divine energy is ceremonially transferred to Lord Venkateswara in the Temple. This Prana Pratishta is believed to harmonize and unite the divine energy with the installed deities made of different stones. The stone Vigrahas are transferred into centers of energy and power.  Kumbhabhishekam is performed to benefit those who attend the function, visit the temple on a regular basis, and participate in the worship services. It is also believed that even those who are unable to visit the temple but by just beholding the Gopura reap spiritual energy of the presiding deities. Attendance: The Hanuman Temple in Frisco is a popular destination, attracting large crowds, particularly on Saturdays. There may be as many as 15, 000 people may have visited Lord Venkateswara.  {{album_1434}}

[GHHF] Shiva Aradhana in Lakshmi Palle: A Devotional Experience under the aegis of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation

The Shiva Aradhana puja program, organized under the aegis of Global Hindu Heritage Foundation at Sri Hanuman Temple in the BC Colony of Lakshmi Palle village, Dornal Mandal, Nandyal district, has been successfully concluded. This program was not just a puja, but a testament to our goal of fostering unity in the Hindu community and protecting our Sanatana Dharma. Held from 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM, the program saw a large number of villagers and Hindu devotees participate, filling the temple premises with a spiritual glow through the chanting of Shiva's name. Despite the rain, devotees did not hold back and took part in the puja. As part of the program, under the supervision of the temple priest, Sri Kalle Gangadharaiah, everyone performed 'pradakshinas' and recited their 'gotra namas.' Each person was asked to perform 'Panchamruta' and 'Ksheerabhishekams' to the Shivalinga, and 'Ashtottara Shatanamavali' puja was conducted. A special 'Shivabhishekam' was arranged for newlywed couples. Our organization's activists, Tirupal and Chiranjeevi , made special efforts to make this program a success. It is due to their hard work that we have already established a Bala Samskara Kendra in Lakshmi Palle. We have also built a Bhajan Samaj and formed a village committee to ensure continuous Hindu Dharma programs. In this village, we have written the name of Bhagawan on every house and went door-to-door to spread Dharma. A Satsang is also regularly held here under the auspices of our organization. Our heartfelt thanks to the villagers and devotees of Lakshmi Palle who cooperated for this program. We hope for your continued support in our efforts to protect Hindu Dharma. With the divine grace and blessings of Parama Pujya Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple is overjoyed to invite you and your family to the Maha Kumbhabhisheka Celebrations of the newly constructed Sri Venkateswara Temple at KSHT. This once-in-a-lifetime sacred event will be filled with deeply spiritual Vedic rituals, grand homas, abhishekas, and divine music, culminating in the Prāṇa Pratiṣṭhā(installation of divine energy) of Sri Venkateswara Swamy. The ceremonies will be blessed by Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji Himself, making this an extraordinary spiritual occasion. The celebrations started on August 4 with the sankalpa of Maha Yagna, and with the divine blessings and permission from Sri Datta Prabhu, the celebrations began. Then, five days of Homas are conducted until the day of Prana Pratishta of Lord Venkateswara. On August 6th, Sri Datta Prabhu performed ksheeradivasa (pouring Panchamruta) on the Vigraha of Lord Venkateswara and Maha Lakshmi and the vehicle. The next few days, the Homas will continue daily until 9th August. Sri Datta Prabhu will perform Sri Chakra Puja daily and give messages to the assembled devotees.  Last two days, Sri Datta Prabhu gave scintillating bhajans and rendered a powerful story of the birth of Maharishi Vyasa and how he was born and his unparalleled contribution to the Sanatana Dharma by way of codifying Vedas, composition of Maha Bharata, and several Puranas. He composed the Brahma Sutras for intellectuals and the Mahabharata for all people. Despite his contribution to writing several Puranas, his heart was not happy. He was not at peace. That day I will be able to serve the people. But if I fall into this condition, I will be considered dead, he replied boldly. These words proved how strong his desire for independence was. "Freedom is my birthright. These Tilak remarks are forever imprinted on the heart of every Indian.
